Apple: Ping users top 1m in first 48 hrs
Apple has sent word that Ping, recently introduced with iTunes 10, has transpired a million users within the first 48 hrs because it launched on Wednesday in the company’s annual music themed event.
Ping, dubbed a brand new social networking for music, lets users follow favourite artists, while buddies can uncover what music you presently like, are hearing as well as installing.
Among the Apple endorsed artists users can follow are Rhianna, Coldplay, U2, Jack Manley and Yo-Yo Ma, discussing news, video updates and tour dates.
